Sanitas offers several funeral insurance products (such as Asistencia Familiar iPlus or Asistencia Senior), which cover basic funeral services and comprehensive additional coverages, including legal assistance and travel assistance.

Telephone or in-person legal consultations regarding contracts, rentals, disputes, fines, inheritances, and family law. Includes legal representation in court up to €3,500 per claim, as well as assistance with administrative procedures following the insured person’s death.
Coverage for medical emergencies and hospitalization abroad, repatriation of remains and companions, and travel-related incidents (baggage, medication delivery, interpreter services, administrative assistance). Optional coverages available for foreign residents.
Waiting periods: 2 months for death coverage and other specific periods depending on the policy. Maximum age for certain plans, such as iPlus: 75 years. Payment options: mixed or single premium available for senior plans.
